How do I make payment?

What are your credentials?

Taiwan Free and Easy Travel, operating under the name of Epic Travel Tours is a registered travel agency with Singapore Tourism Board.  Our travel agent no. is 02538.

Why do I have to pay a proposal fee?

All our travel itineraries are customised on demand.  The proposal fee allows us to allocate resources to research, design and make trip arrangements based on your requests.

Is the proposal fee refundable?

The proposal fee is waived and counts towards your tour fare if you take up our proposal.  It is non-refundable if you do not engage our services.

How are your payment terms?
  • You pay the proposal fee to create your trip proposal.
  • Once you agree to the proposal, you pay a 50% deposit of the total fare to map the itinerary and secure accommodation.
  • Final payment is required to secure the driver guide when the itinerary and hotels are confirmed.
  • Driver guide details will be sent to you 3-5 days before departure.
Can I make changes to the proposal?

Of course. We can also make the changes you requested when we are mapping out the itinerary.

Can I request changes to the itinerary?

Of course.  We allow unlimited reasonable changes to the itinerary.  Reasonable – changes from one destination to another destination within the same county.  Adding /removing attractions within the same county.

Am I allowed to choose my own hotels?

During the proposal phase, if you have a specific hotel you would like to stay in, please inform the travel planner ahead.  

Otherwise, we would use our highly recommended tried and tested hotels.  

We do not have a list of hotels to choose from unfortunately.

In the event you would like to change the hotels we have allocated; you will need to top up if you would like to upgrade.  We will refund the difference if you would like to downgrade.

I have already booked my accommodation. Can you assist with the arrangement of transport?

We offer land tour only, that is transport + accommodation with breakfasts.  We DO NOT arrange transport only.

Can I cancel my trip without valid reason after the hotel and driver has been confirmed?

Please refer to our cancellation policies. For more than 1 month cancellation,  the initial deposit is non-refundable, but non expired under any circumstance.  An administrative fee of SGD$650.00 is applicable to process your cancellations.  You may be subjected to additional charges imposed by third-party vendors.

For less than 1 month cancellation, there are no refunds applicable.

We can however assist in insurance claims for cancellations with valid reasons.

I have a credit note with you. How can I utilise the credit note?

The credit note is only applicable for the final payment of your new tour package.  It cannot be used to offset proposal fee, deposit or any interim payment.

How to qualify for the 10% early bird discount?

10% early bird discount is applicable when you arrange your trip at least 1 month before departure.  Subsequent deposit payment, interim payment and final payment has to be completed within 3 weeks of the booking date.

Do you have English speaking driver?

Of course. However, a surcharge do apply as English speaking drivers are limited in Taiwan.

How long do you take to respond to queries?

Almost immediately over whatsapp.  Within 24 hours via email.  If you do not hear from us, we are most likely unable to service your request.

What is the minimum number of days to arrange a trip with you?

The minimum trip duration is 6D5N.  However, if you have more than 6 paxes and a shorter duration, we would be able to work something out on a case by case basis.

Can I get a quotation over the phone or email?

All clients must pay a proposal fee as our itineraries are customised.  Without the proposal fee, we are unable to proceed.

Can you book restaurants on our behalf?

A surcharge of SGD$100.00 applies for booking restaurants on your behalf.

Can I meet you face to face to discuss the itinerary?

We are an online travel agency and do not have an office. You can however whatsapp us, skype us (if necessary) or email your queries/itineraries.

As a Taiwan travel specialist, no requests are too daunting for us.
